I just had my first baby on 8/1. My birth story was similar to yours; I surprised the nurses by going from 3 to 8 cm in 2 hours! I had also just had my epi boosted and baby was a little stressed, so the section was a possibility. Luckily my dr. let me try pushing, and my baby girl was out after 4 pushes! I am just about 6 weeks from my due date...I am due October 20th with my first baby and we are having a boy as well. I have to say I feel SO much better after reading your labor and delivery story. I was starting to DREAD labor and delivery and I still am a little uneasy about the whole thing but after reading your story you made it seem like it wasn't that horrible and your positive and funny attitude makes me know it's going to be alright:) Thanks:) Great story! I have a stepson named Dylan but he's 14!! I just gave birth to my 3rd daughter and she was born on July 4th!!
